M-Org Chopper Concept: Organic, Green and quite frankly undescribable

m-org custom chopper concept

They say “pictures speak a thousands words” and for once we will do pictures do most of the talking because its unlike anything we have ever seen before.

The bike you see in pictures is designed by Russian Designer Michael Smolyanov and quite frankly undescribable. The bike according to its designer has been made entirely from grown organic material treated with flourine which destructs the organics and processes the carbon of the frame making it stronger and lighter.

Although no powertrain details are out, we can make out from the pictures a large capacity V-Twin engine which could possibly run on environmentally friendly fuels like Ethanol.

We would now let pictures do the talking. Do lets us know via a comment, what do you think of the bike?

After Hours Choppers

It's After Hours Choppers, ladies and gentlemen (cough). Excuse me, I mean, show me yout tits and gimme yer money. God, I love strippers and boobies. So does Gabe, the proprietor of AHC, a little shop in Newcastle, Northern California. He's been cranking out whatever he feels like for dudes who aren't fools and babes unafraid for many years.

I've gotten to know Gabe a little bit through some emails and a phone call over the past ten weeks and I have to say that he does it his way and I approve. You got a Sporty? No problem. An XS? Cool. He isn't the type to care what it is as long as it isn't some overblown chromed-out extension of how small your penis is. He's honest and affordable, easy to talk to and quick to offer his knowledge while professing to need to learn more. Here are a few words from him and some photos of the work he creates.

After Hours Choppers.... what to say? It's a one-man company that isn't about to get any bigger. I hate the idea of waking up at a decent hour to chatty walk-ins, employees I've got to babysit and the financial burden of big insurance and all the bullshit that goes with it. 3 years ago I lost my job and instead of collecting a check that I didn't earn, I went full time with my hobby. Since then I've learned how little I want to go back to that kind of job and how much I love riding across the country meeting cool people and seeing what makes this the greatest country on the planet.... That’s something we forget.

custom xs650 chopper | after hours choppers
My first bike was an XS650. I strutted the frame and stripped it down a bit, not nearly as much as I would today. Back then I had a flux core MIG and a hacksaw in a 4x8 room meant to store a lawnmower and no internet to copy everyone else's ideas. A lot of dudes getting into bikes just can't imagine a world where you have to figure things out on your own and just do what YOU like. There was no popular chopper craze and nobody else really liked what I was doing.

My next bike was an Ironhead that a buddy had in a wall locker in pieces. My girlfriend Lois (now my wife) drummed up the $1500 and bought it for my birthday, which was pretty cool shit. That bike has seen three complete builds and almost no road time. I used it as a canvas for years as I changed my mind about everything on it. Soon enough it will have the first Spartan Ironhead frame and an early Springer and king & queen seat that I bought a recent swap meet, along with an old Wassel who's paint is beautifully cracked. For years the bike sat in a spare bedroom with a mountain of collected treasures. I think some decent seat time will finally be in order.

The Rising Craze of Mini Chopper Bikes

Chopper bikes have always held its own in the motorcycle marketplace. All thanks to the strong support given by hardcore chopper fans from all around the world. In recent years, one of the fastest rising motorcycle sport has taken the United States by storm: mini bike riding. For many custom chopper fans who, for some reason, don't wish to pay the full price of a chopper bike, this is a dream come true.

Mini chopper bikes are much cheaper than the real thing, easier to maintain, and are safer to ride. You can choose to ride either a gas mini chopper, or an electric mini chopper. Both has its advantages and disadvantages.

Electric chopper mini bikes tend to attract more new riders. They are generally cheaper to maintain, since they don't require gas (which can be expensive these days) to run. However, most electric mini choppers do not go as fast as gas mini chopper bikes. Also, they do not cover as much distance. As they are generally slower than gas driven mini choppers, they are also easier to handle - hence, making them ideal for new bikers and young children.

After some practice, you may choose to move on to gas mini choppers. Whether you want to keep the old minibike is completely up to you. Gas mini choppers have the potential to travel at much faster speeds. That means the bikes also require a more skillful rider to handle the extra power. They operate very much like an ordinary chopper bike, except that they are smaller in size.

When riding a gas or electric mini chopper bikes, be sure that they are certified for use on public roads before taking them out to the streets. Different states have different regulations regarding the use of mini bikes on public roads. You may wish to check with the vendor before making a purchase, or you may ask your insurance agent. Otherwise, check with your local automobile law enforcement agency.

For many chopper fans, riding a mini chopper is not about racing. Rather, it's about the lifestyle. There is a somewhat carefree feeling to riding chopper bikes. And that's what help build a strong and intensely loyal fan base for chopper bikes. Unlike other types of pocket bikes like mini GP racing bikes, mini chopper owners seldom focus on racing. Instead, they like to hang out in a big group, and go riding into the sunset on their mini chopper bikes. Many also go to great lengths to customize their chopper bikes. This requires a certain level of knowledge, and of course, passion.

Mainly, mini chopper bikes are so popular because many chopper fans can now do many of the things that they have always wanted to do with their chopper bikes without having to worry about the cost of owning a real chopper. Customizing and maintaining a custom Mini Chopper Bike is so much cheaper compared to a real chopper. Also, when the owner grows tired of the existing mini chopper bike, it's also much easier to sell it away and buy another one.

Today, mini chopper bikes continue to give great satisfaction to their owners all over the world.

Extreme Chopper Custom With Red Color

Steve McQueen's Triumph from "The Great Escape"

For this week's bike I had asked for suggestions on Brown Dog Welding's Fanpage. The first one I got back was the Triumph that McQueen rode in "The Great Escape," and I thought that was a great idea. I've been told over and over again to see that flick, so last night I finally did. It's definitely a classic for good reason.

Here's a clip of the famous jump, where stuntman Bud Ekins jumps the Triumph over a 6' fence.

And here's my version of the TR6, it's up for bidding now and all proceeds go to charity.

The "knobby" tires are a first, I'm happy with how they look!

"Ironman" is a pretty mean looking piece with the short pipes, ape hangers, and the suicide shifter. Keep up on the bidding here!
